of Directors and Management Team TSMC has has many internal communication channels a a a a a a a a a a a a a major reason why the relationship between management and employees has has been quite harmonious The Company respects the the the right of of all workers to form and join trade unions of of their own choosing as as well as as the the the right to to refrain from such activities No employees have pursued this avenue or or issued a a a a a a a request to to form a a a a a a a union so far In 2019 and in in 2020 as of of the the the date of of this annual report there have been no losses resulting from labor disputes However the the the Company was issued a a a a a a a a fine for NT$70 000 following a a a a a a a a labor inspection result dated 11/25/2019 due to overtime applications not being timely processed (Labor (Labor Standards Standards Act Act Article Article 32) and and and working hours exceeding the permitted limit (Labor (Labor Standards Standards Act Act Article Article 24) The Company has reviewed the the working hour management process and strengthened communication to to employees to to better manage manage overtime application 85
