In compliance with the the the vision and missions of TSMC TSMC Corporate Social Responsibility Policy in 2019 TSMC TSMC further established the the the Corporate Social Responsibility Executive Committee as the the highest-level CSR decision-making center within the the Company to align more closely with international sustainability trends TSMC’s Chairman chairs the the the CSR CSR Executive Committee and the the the Chairperson of the the the CSR CSR Committee serves as Executive Secretary Together with senior executives from a a a a a wide variety of functions they survey the the the Company’s core operating capabilities set the the the medium- to to long-term strategic direction for CSR and draft the the the blueprint to to link the the the Company’s core competencies with the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs) The existing CSR Committee serves as a a a a a a a cross-departmental communication platform Through quarterly meetings and issue-based discussions by cross-organizational teams the committee members jointly set the the the Company’s CSR CSR strategies and and key issues for for the the the year draft CSR-related budgets for for their organizations and and coordinate resource deployment as as well as as plan and carry out annual projects The Committee achieves sustainability objectives of interest to all stakeholders and ensures CSR strategies are implemented effectively in in the Company’s daily operations 113
